Coop come off like a hoe. Just keeping it real. Mike come off like a cool nikka.
I had secondhand embarrassment the whole interview with Rap Roundtable. According 2 Hip Hop got 17K followers, and this nikka talking bout writing a book, smh. Trying to spill the tea like a Shaderoom hoe.
Coop was contradicting himself the entire interview too. Talking about the people need to hear the truth and that he hides nothing. Right after mentioning not being able to do shows due to a legal issue (which he glosses over).
He tried to give off the impression that Mike wanted him out because Mike was threatened, but also stated that he's not the sole owner and 3 out of the 4 owners need to agree on material decisions (which implies it was a group decision).
But he also said he was leaving anyway, and would have been way bigger if he did (so what's the problem?)
All in all, it was unnecessary and it distasteful.
Coop will realize though, that as much as you can make the argument that Mike needs an energy guy like Coop, Coop needs a more restrained guy like Mike to reign him in. It was the balance that made the show more than anything. Coop is arguably the most knowledgeable guy in the space, but honestly Mike's knowledge is right with Coop's. It's just that Mike would always let Coop go on those self-aggrandizing soliloquies trying to make himself look like Reed Richards.
I wish the best for them both.
