It didn’t start becoming noticeable to me until around HHID and on. I can dig it when he’s just flowing fast type shhit and it’s in pocket like on “Nasty”…I just don’t really like it when it sounds like he’s squeezing too many words in the bars and it sounds a little off. But he’s Nas, lol, who tf am I to knock what he does? My son TBE…🤷🏽‍♂️

Yep, that's my least favorite Nas...

The greatest of ALL time
I will always hold Pac very close, but Nas is so GOATed it's not even funny anymore. I don't even entertain any discussions on who might be better.

He been my GOAT since the Stillmatic/Gods Son era, but EVERYTHING he's done since (minus HHID) just lifted him further and further. And to THEN drop the HitBoy run?

That's literally like....Bron going back to Cleveland now and threepeating....MJ threepeating again with the Wizards... MJ fourpeating again like he did with OFFTHEWALL/THRILLER/BAD/DANGEROUS..... Coppola making a Godfather IV and V on the level of GF1/2... Etc

It's insane what he did and I know it's culture now to move on quickly, but I'm still :ohhh: at it.

Even if you don’t like Hip Hop Is Dead the fact Nas had the balls to stand on it, take all the criticism, AND outsell Jeezy when Jeezy directly challenged him definitely went a way in unlifting his legacy

And then went on to Jeezy song and called HIMSELF the illest rapper on the label :russ:

leak infodump posted on the site, apparently it's from the same people that leaked all a bunch of things in January, they're legit.

Highly doubtful. That entire post reads like fanfiction

Throne Of Blood def sounds like those old message board song/album title rumors of various artists back in the day.
:dead:

Do I believe Kendrick is dropping based on all the rumors out there about a summer release? Yes. I can imagine some experimental stuff in the mix because he always does that, but if I had to bet this will be a mainstream album.

Also impressive was his ability to mature his subject matter to a more grown folks perspective. None of his peers have been able to do it to his level if they've even be able to at all.
