This was a great read, đ«ĄThe Nas Renaissance Has Hit a New Peak
Backstage at Madison Square Garden, the rap legend reflects on his early triumphsâand a late-career resurgence unprecedented in hip-hop.www.gq.com
People love it now (probably mostly his core tho) but I think in the next 10 years hip hop as a whole will really embrace and appreciate what Nas has done over the last 3 years, for real. It feels unappreciated or under-appreciated right now because a lot of kinda under the radar shyt takes that course initially. Once people become less distracted and caught up in contemporary culture news cycles and all thatâŠI think theyâll double back and give Nas his flowers for this 4-fire albums back to back/MSG sold out legendary moment in hip hop/hip hop museum constructingâŠall while being a lowkey business tyc00n ass greatness from a man 30 years into his career. Keep in mind, before all of this he was already considered the Greatest Ever by many
