Nah I agree with him. I love the lyrics and the concept, but it's just way too slow to work imo. I feel like I would love it if it had the same beat just a faster tempo.

As an avid cannabis consumer, I cannot overlook the low key gem that is Blunt Ashes. I was in high school getting into smoking with songs like Purple, Blunt Ashes, etc.

"Blunt Ashes" was a dope concept, but I always hated that the flow was inconsistent. Conceptually and creatively, it was TV ONE'S Unsung before Unsung. Artists he named in that song were featured in the first season of Unsung from Phyllis Hyman to Donny Hathaway to Florence Ballard.
