I thought that on life is good, the production was the most solid he had since god's son and his flow was top notch. but I do think he stepped down a little lyricaly wise, his pen was sharper on untitled. he wasn't til the kd series where he picked it up. but it was ok since the focus was more about the divorce theme rather than stricly bars. he was top notch on the deluxe joints tho. to me the deluxe version is the only way to truly appreciate this album

he dropped dope merch too for the 10th anniversary of the album
Stepped down lyrically on life is good is wild

"The record hasn't come out yet" - Nas

Is this promotion for KDIII? We getting closer?

On Life Is Good, did anyone get the vibe that from "Locomotive" through "Queen's Story", it's like you're getting on a train ride and journeying through Queens.

Yeah, I noticed that revisiting it last week. He also mentions robbing trains as a kid on No Introduction and then goes further into detail on Locomotive. Then on Accident Murderers he's speaking from the perspective of a grown up looking at the youth like they're going crazy.

All I know is that this dude's discography is insane. It's not truly appreciated or acknowledged, as it should be. But Nas also dismisses his own work sometimes. Him saying he doesn't even remember what tracks are on "I Am..." or "Nastradamus" just serves to diminish his own work and gives credence to that BS line from Jay on the Takeover.
