Do you guys feel like God's Son is starting to get underrated? I don't see it brought up as a classic like that, at least not as much as Stillmatic and The Lost Tapes. Seems like people love individual tracks more than the album itself.

Sounds like a classic to me.

When this dropped back in the day I had no responsibility outside myself. I remember copping in the morning, smoking all day and blasting God's Son noon to midnight.

Those first four songs, Get Down-The Cross-Made You Look-Last Real nikka Alive, I remember thinking this as good as hip hop gets. Even The Cross, average as the beat is, it banged on a good stereo, and the lyrics + flow were just

I think I heard it. It was a bunch of song clips with some of his features and at the very end he snuck that beat in.

There's a few other songs on the album I thought Nas could have fit on. But I love what Nas did with his flow on the joint with Stevie. That's a hard beat to rhyme over.

Finally able to post. I saw Hit Boy's Instagram story as well. He was filming behind Nas who was seemingly writing/vibing to a beat. As mentioned, the beat was nice. It was soulful and upbeat.

Yup like others said it was the back of Nas sitting at the computer listening to it, the same computer he was at when he reacted to the Speechless beat.
