Facts! Hit-Boy and Nas got a formula with just them 2 working in the studio and it's working. If they bring Kanye in the fold the studio would be looking like Rocky 3 training session when Mickey was pissed off with all the lights and cameras around Rock lol they couldn't focus and get that good work in.
Hilarious analogy. I want the circus but i feel you. We already 3 albums of Hitboy. Mixing it up would be interesting. Might be a disaster or might be classic. I think worth the risk.

I'm not opposed to Nas and Kanye working again and stand by my earlier view that I'd want to hear Nas on Donda era Kanye shyt more than Wyoming era Kanye. But given Kanye's recent destructive behavior...Nas should stay far away. Nas don't need our advice though, I'm sure he recognizes he doesn't want to be around that vibe at alllll.

Nas's last four projects pretty much erased the Nasir album from memory. It had few joints, but overall, I was left confused. It left me wondering how if Nasir really was better than the music Nas was working on from 2012-2018. Snippets sounded better than the entirety of Nasir. Meanwhile, Lost Tapes 2 sounded more like vintage Nas. King's Disease was more of vintage Nas, but exploring more relationship songs. King's Disease 2 sounded like a whole new Nas and he upped the ante. Magic brought it back to the essence.

The only producer that would blend well with hit boy and nas is alc

Im hoping for a couple Alc cuts on the next album, they have a great chemistry also, and right now I feel like ALC is the best rap producer alive, Hit boy is up there as well but ALC has 20 years of consistently producing rap records.

Imagine Nas on this beat

:wow:. I like Hitboy being the co-pilot on Nas projects, they haven't missed yet...but I wouldnt mind some Alchemist joints in the mix (that Hitboy approves too of course, I trust his ear 1000%)

I don't understand the Nasir (Album) hate.

:francis:

It was 7 songs of brand new Nas music after six years without an album. Couple that with Kanye producing all 7 songs. What we ended up with was that bizarre rollout and something that sounded all over the place. That's not mentioning Kanye lifting the album cover and two of the beats from another artist. It didn't sound like an album, but a teaser ir a mixtape to something more. "Adam & Eve" was crazy though. I also liked "White Label" and "Bonjour". The rest was blah.

Compare that with Magic, which is 9 songs, but is near flawless. That is a much better album and sounds more in tune with what Pusha said Nasir was supposed to be.
