was thinking that earlier. Nas may not be a huge mainstream name now but rappers still follow his moves and take inspiration from him. I'm sure Game and Snoop partially came to Hit Boy because of the work with Nas
The collab between Nas and Hit Boy helped both of them massively. Even if incorrect it's shifted the narrative of Nas picking bad beats and we wouldn't have seen such a prolific run from Nas in terms of output. And Hit Boy, definitely getting more work because of it.
I'd be interested to hear Kanye's thoughts on the KD1, KD2 and Magic run. Nas his favourite rapper and although reconciled now, there was a beef between Hit and Ye pre the last few months.
Do we know why and how they reconciled? have Big Sean and Kanye reconciled? Seems strange Hit Boy would reconcile with Kanye if they haven't given how close Big Sean and Hit Boy are
I think Kanye and Big Sean reconciled. If i’m not mistaken there were some pictures taken a few weeks ago with them together.
Also I wouldn’t be surprised if half the reason Kanye reconciled with Hit-Boy was BECAUSE of the work he’s been doing with Nas. Hit-Boy did what Kanye couldn’t, make a classic Nas album. THEN he did it again! Kanye seems to always be good at surrounding himself with people who can do what HE can’t. Wouldn’t be surprised at all if there are Hit-Boy production credits and maybe even a Nas feature on Donda 2

Disagree. Their tracks have been good. Nasir was rushed but at least it was interesting. I liked that it was regular. There was a lot to like in it even if it was janky in parts. Kanye knows how to make music.
Wouldn't hate them working together again long as Nas has full control of the situation. The tracks Kanye produced in HHID and Lost Tapes 2 not to mention Poppa Was A Player and Turn It Out were dope. But Kanye fukked Nas over pretty bad with Nasir. Not to mention his behavior in recent years just been flat out embarrassing and disgraceful. Can't imagine Nas in a rush to deal with him again unless it's just dropping a guest verse or something

Facts! Hit-Boy and Nas got a formula with just them 2 working in the studio and it's working. If they bring Kanye in the fold the studio would be looking like Rocky 3 training session when Mickey was pissed off with all the lights and cameras around Rock lol they couldn't focus and get that good work in.
