I am is a personal classic for me. I never heard anybody hate on i am until recently. Everybody was bumping that album when it came out. sold well and got good ratings. Nas is held go ungodly standards so I get it.Steve Stoute on Drinks Champ said Nas ddnt like how I Am got bootlegged so in a sense both it n Nastradamus left a bad feelin in him as an artist who had a direction he wanted to go and things went left.
He prob remembers more than two songs from both.... coz on his live sets he plays songs from I Am.
I Am was a dope album ...i think a big portion of his fans also came from the I Am era and retraced there steps back if they weren't the 90's fans
Happy 20th Anniversary to Stillmatic!
