was thinking other day a proper MC podcast would be very cool. For all the technical aspects of being an MC it rarely gets discussed. Producers talk about using samples and what not but rarely would you hear about Nas’ or other rapper’s writing process, why he chose that flow to ride a certain beat etc.

Footage of Nas in the studio is always cool to see. I watched the videos with him recording Echo with Swizz and Car 85 with Charlie Wilson a ridiculous amount of times. Just seeing how these conversations turn into lyrics is dope.
