Schooling people takes forever; don't bother
The times when Nas interpolated other people's rhymes (incomplete)

Sugar Hill Gang - Rapper's Delight

Nas - Fear Of Mandingo

---

Big Daddy Kane - Raw (Original Version) (feat. Kool G Rap)

Nas - Disciple

---

...and ouch, somebody wrote this on the reddit if anybody here wants to reply www.reddit.com/r/nas/comments/oh83ji/did_nas_diss_biggie_on_the_message_but_basically/ ...he's a follower of that 2Pac Fan exposing Nas shyt on his channel https://www.youtube.com/c/DiscretionTV/search?query=nas

...There are others but I'm blanking out right now

5 Mics: Illmatic, It Was Written, Lost Tapes 1

Fluctuates. Biggest rise for me: SD. Gave the album a lot of spins last year and recently this year...lyrically the album is crazy. Both verses on American Way for instance, especially the last one. If it had been sequenced better and replaced the weaker relationship tracks with some of the stuff that was supposed to make the album (Serious, Talk Of NY) it could have been a 4/5. Hell could have been a 5 with some more tuning. I like the Maxwell track, the Destiny tribute, Virgo...but the rest of the relationship/love tracks can go. Wish they could have done something different like add some 80s Queens-esque r&b type shyt, for the ladies tracks. This is the type of album where something like Reach Out would have really hit harder. I like the track on LIG but put it on SD and it resonates more with people I bet.

Untitled...to me the mixtape was just way better. The music on the album doesn't really match Nas, and I feel like the album title suggested we were gonna get something subversive and hard...like some PE, Bombsquad era Cube shyt. The mixtape pointed in that direction but the album was mellow, mixed with a couple meh radio attempts.

Ft. Stewart, Ga
Rewind prob more creative simply because no one had ever done before, whereas the "sentient bullet" had been done before.

(granted the tracks are pretty different and I Gave You Power is a lot more emotional/striking)

People who compare Stray Bullet and I Gave You Power don’t listen to music they just skim through it.

Stray Bullet is told from the perspective of the Bullet. I Gave You Power is the from the perspective of the Gun I Gave You Power is MUCH more descriptive
