@Piff Perkins did you read the part in that Alchemist interview when he talks about Book of Rhymes? That was dope as fukk lol. He said he didn't really even understand the concept until it was finished and he was like

Classic song, shyt is almost like a movie. The early verses are kinda trivial, you can kind of trace his progression as a writer...then you get to that last haunting verse. I used to not know what to think about that shyt as a kid until later on I had a nurse in one of my classes in college. I forgot what we were talking about but she said there's a psychology issue where fathers sometimes become jealous of the attention their newborn garners from the mother. I had never even really thought about that shyt since I didn't (and still don't) have kids but I immediately remembered that verse.
