Son just because it’s designer or cost a lot and separate pieces look good don’t mean a nikka know how to put it together. The way he rockin that hat look crazy and I think Nas dresses clean and is a fly nikka for his age.

Bro. Show me one fly nikka in NY who rocks visors in general. Let alone in that manner. Lol

welllll, visors are starting to come back. just like designer bucket hats did last year.

This Celine one is really a headband with a brim.

Dior was the first to start bringing visors back maybe a year or 2 ago. so I cant really post a pic cause it was mainly a female visor.

but anyway..

agree to disagree.

I think it’s since he commented on that Kelis shyt. I don’t think Nas was feelin that. He was a good sport about Cole putting him on front street for no reason with that Let Nas Down shyt. And even gave him a response and supported him. But I don’t think Nas was feelin the Kelis shyt in the slightest. Just my take.

Yeah but they flicked it up together and chatted at the All Star Game in Chicago last year and to be fair to Cole, he gave a really diplomatic answer to that question. If I remember correctly he said something along the lines that he doesnt know if its true or hopes its not and he doesnt condone any hurting of women as a general point.

I know the interview was also before Nas gave his reply on IG months later but it was published after (The writer said it was done on his tour during the summer and Nas reponse was in like September). Plus he was still rocking that Urban Oufitters Nas vintage tee for like months after and rapped over Oochie Wally so who knows lol:pachaha:

He might not be fanboying anymore cause hes established in the game himself and doesnt need to idolize as much like he did early in his career to other rappers. I've noticed he seems more confident about his own place in rap history, which hes kinda supposed to do. And its not like Nas had any reason to shoutout him out since showing KoD love on his IG.

His statement was bullshyt bro because in that same interview he gave XXX a crazy pass and said he reached out to him when he read about what he did meanwhile this nikka was proven to have tortured, kidnapped, and sodomized his girl. Even Charlamagne and Envy said Cole’s response was wack on Breakfast Club. They said a simple “no comment” would’ve sufficed and I think at that point Nas had already denied it. But he didn’t go into detail yet.

Yeah it was definetly contradictory and goofy but I think he was damned either way because the interviewer asked him. At the time I thought it was kinda wack but I honestly dont think he was trying to cancel or anything

Maybe, but this was 2018, peak Me Too/Cancel Culture period, even if he said that he was getting a reaction. I have to go back and read the inteview but looking back on it, I honestly think he wasnt dissing Nas.

Like I said if he was so concerned with cancel culture he wouldn’t have been making excuses for XXX in that same interview who was literally locked up for being a violent woman abuser. A no comment would’ve been perfect in that scenario when asked about Nas. Or he could’ve said “I’m not at liberty to speak on that man’s situation as I don’t know enough about it. I hope everything works out for the best for everyone involved..”. And kept it pushin.

Yeah as I said before he looks goofy for that, there was even people online who had given some weird reasoning to agree with him and it really boil to down generational stanning from them.

But like I said I thought what he said was pretty much as diplomatic as one can be.....for a me too era.

Either way, I dont think Nas is mad at him, hell Im not even sure Nas knows about the interview.

Oh I’m 99% sure Nas knows about that interview. Nas doesn’t comment on shyt when people slander him but that shyt made him write an essay explaining his side of the situation. Something he NEVER has done since he’s been in the game.
