If I remember correctly he said something along the lines that he doesnt know if its true or hopes its not and he doesnt condone any hurting of women as a general point.
I know the interview was also before Nas gave his reply on IG months later but it was published after (The writer said it was done on his tour during the summer and Nas reponse was in like September). Plus he was still rocking that Urban Oufitters Nas vintage tee for like months after and rapped over Oochie Wally so who knows lol
He might not be fanboying anymore cause hes established in the game himself and doesnt need to idolize as much like he did early in his career to other rappers. I've noticed he seems more confident about his own place in rap history, which hes kinda supposed to do. And its not like Nas had any reason to shoutout him out since showing KoD love on his IG.
