I feel bad for liking the album after reading this.
To add to that, there were also idiots wondering why Nas didn't address the Kelis allegations, even though they were very recent when the album came out. Considering when he started recording, he probably could have thrown in a line or two about it, but it would have just been to please some entitled idiots who demand Nas explain himself so they can cancel him sooner.
I still think if you remove the album from all the stink surrounding it, it's at least a 3/5. But Kanye fukked everything up for Nas and blew the one opportunity he had to get the man to work faster. Nas literally went against his own process to work with Kanye, and this is what ended up happening.
That's why I won't be surprised if Nas doesn't release a new album for a few more years. He's hoping people forget about this episode.
