I would love to hear Nas cook up something with Havoc- I rather he worked with various producers rather than one guy do the entire joint....Id be all for Alchemist to

Nas and 50 particularly because they both have close relationships with him and can easily get all the beats they want, are both nuts for not utilizing Havoc way more. To me Havoc is Top 5 ever on the boards. I wouldn't mind hearing an entire Nas album produced by Havoc, imagine how that shyt would sound, :ohhh:. Nas back on some gritty shyt would be beautiful right now.

first two sentences of the Pitchfork review for new Jay Elec:

The myth of Jay Electronica has long outweighed the music—in part because there was so little of it. He’s been: touched by Erykah Badu juju; cozy with a Rothschild; a Nas ghostwriter.

:pacspit:

This is absolutely nuts!
Man I know Nas hates during press
but he's gotta start defending his name.
It feels like it's an agenda out here on dude
and he needs to call it out.

Yep.

Cacfork ALWAYS trolling which is why i won’t ever link their shyt.

A few paragraphs down they did make mention that those allegations were refuted but what was the point of even bringing the shyt up when Nas himself said it never happened

They bring it up because it adds to the myth of Jay Electronica. This is why I don't rock with P4K. They spread misinformation and they really did Nas dirty with that review of Untitled. They opened up comparing Nas to Jay Z and continued talking about Jay Z and it wasn't much said about the music.

Nas going to have some new production on this new album. Working with a good mix of OGs and newer producers.

I think Nas would prefer to be a big business man now and continue to rub shoulders in that arena, doing rap is more of a hobby or whenever he feels like it. It’s almost like he is doing that now. He tours and gets his money up and invests it and thats all good. He wants his loot to work for him. He can do this rap shyt when he is inspired to do so and not because he has to, dare I say like Jay Z ( I can’t stand dude). With that being said, Nas will continue to do him and release the music that he wants to release... and more importantly and much to our dismay, when he wants to. Lol.

One thing I do know is that all time greats, in any thing like sports, music, movies and other forms of entertainment began to think about their legacies later in their career. They start doing different types of projects to add to their legacies and sometimes they do more serious projects or more conscious projects. Bold shyt. Nas has more than solidified his legacy and I think that besides a few more projects he is pretty much done. I hate to say this. He has done the bold shyt, the political shyt, the experimental shyt, the commercial shyt. He has opened up the vaults. There is not much more new shyt for him to do. He has some awards to win but that’s going to come simply because of the legend that he is and probably for a project that doesn’t deserve it as much as past projects.

I give Nas 3 more albums tops and I fear it will be features, singles and complications from here in out

Sad to say it.
Only thing left for him to really do is drop that one album everyone would be interested in and would love to have is...

Since Jay Electronica finally dropped an album perhaps that can open pandora's box for all mythological albums to come to life.

Nas next two, possibly 3 projects have to be pretty much done and full. The new album seems like the best bet for this summer. It should be followed by the long awaited Mass Appeal album after that, I’m thinking TLT3, if another album anniversary season doesn’t interfere.

Picture isn't loading for me but I'm guessing it's the Jan/Feb 2006 Scratch Magazine cover. Still have that issue, and still hoping it becomes reality...

General public never believed it
Nas denied it vehemently on Big Boy 92.3
Jay Electronica denied it
and Dead Prez said they helped with concepts and few hooks, but never wrote a rhyme.

and the "controversy" was over in 2012... literally nobody believes it.
