Nas and Mary show was really good in Newark...

Green Lantern has done a good job at least freshening up some classic with good beat switches on some songs.

Mary is epic btw

When I saw Nas in London back in May, he flipped the Made You Look beat to something else (not Step into a World or Deep cover) and it actually got Nas off gaurd and he told him to wheel it up and said "yo chill I wasnt ready for that where you find that?"

Nas might not work with Cole after Cole had some shyt to say about the Kelis bullshyt.

Also, Nas hasn’t worked with a “new school” rapper on HIS album since Quan on Streets Disciple. So rhianna & Kendrick would have to have a song that they felt Nas would work on and then Nas himself would have to be inspired enough to write to it.

I feel like that's something him and cole can hash out. We need a cole nas record. Also a nas Rihanna song would be fire. And i think nas on a super dope 40 beat would be fire with drake. Kendrick and nas could put together a fire storytelling song. Sometimes I wish I could be apart of nas team, I would have some fire suggestions

Cole exec produced Swizz's album and surely had some interaction with Nas during the creation of Echo. I doubt they have any issues. I agree Cole was way outta pocket with what he said though. Contrast that to the way he has discussed XXX and virtually every other rapper accused of anything. Very weird.

Echo kind of reminds me of Devil in a new dress. I can imagine Nas would have an epic verse on that track. The beats perfect for his storytelling

I dont even know if he was being disrepectful cause the way I interpreted his answer was "That shyt hurt me and thats my man but I usually mess with that" he didnt really cancel Nas or whatever just made or acknowledge that is true, just glossed over that and said he is not for domestic abuse.

But I do agree he look stupid saying that shyt but then trying to big up XXX, Kodak etc


But thats cole fukking with young dudes and now doing young dudes flow for clout

Nas only get's love from the actual rappers/hiphop heads that matter. No one cares about what some random troll from twitter thinks or Jayz rider's/people on his payroll like Joe Budden/Elliot Wilson

I appreciate him showing love and breaking down several excellent points


But the fact that it HAD to be a white dude who understands Nas greatness, and the fact that Nas might be the most accomplished and famous pro black rapper of all time, and black journalists and personalities aren’t championing Nas just grinds my gears
