Watching videos of the 1st 2 nights
of the tour with him and Mary and
his solo show tonight out VA
dude is killing shows right now.
Stepping his performance game
back up.

to be fair and honest, he was really really rusty the first show down in palm beach, hope hes doing much better. Son tries to do a 60-90 minute set straight through, needs a mini break in between

Did he atleast get a good crowd reaction?
Seemed pretty good from what I saw.

his fans love him, of course, but it was noticeable with him forgetting his lyrics and Green Lantern (who is not the ideal hypeman) helping him.

It was cool, one of the few places in London where you could get like a proper NY pizza (Theres always imitators and you can get American pizza everywhere but something that aint just Domino's/Pizza Hut) but the chef would like import the water from NY to make the dough, little things like that.
I was shocked to hear it got shut down when I went by it in January. Their opening some fine dining chinese restaraunt with some celeb chef now:mjcry:

Y’all should be doing everything possible to resist our fast food joints.

I was watching a story about the obesity epidemic in the Middle East due to the popularization of our shytty fast food joints.

I can’t speak on your personal experience, but I’ve watched Nas every year for like 6 straight years now and he has been giving superb shows.

Saw him last year with Erykah Badu and he was sharp as hell.

I think the criticism of him “forgetting” lyrics is residual criticism from years ago - before he went on tour with Marley and really learned how to put on a show.

fam I have seen Nas 3 times, he forgets his lyrics and it was really obvious on the show in west palm, it was the first show of the tour so I give him that, but it was a rusty start, the crowd showed love but he needs a true hypeman for his shows, fam forgets the lyrics, even my girl looked at me weird during some songs, it was just awkward at times lol.

He skips some words in some of those really dense bars....people confuse that with "forgetting" the lyrics. :beli:

Most performers have hype man for this reason.

he skips alot of words then......maybe 25-30% of his words.:yeshrug:

in that case, he needs a hypeman and DJ Green Lantern is not that.

Jungle does a good job as his hype man every now and then.

Honestly, i’ve been seeing Nas live since HHID dropped and he’s NEVER had an issue remembering lines. Dude has been incredible every time i’ve seen him, the best probably being One Music fest in 2014 with him and Kendrick Lamar as headliners. Kendrick can perform his ass off too
