Sinatra In The Sands with Pharrell on the hook instead of weak ass Justin Timbercac:wow:

Come on now, Pharrell has never been a good singer. Not saying JT is great, but for what they were going for, Pharrell wouldn't fit. Apparently Justin sounds like Sinatra on the hook. I'm thinking Tim has JT sounding like a vocal sample like what happened with Jay's "Heaven".

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
nikka that didn’t answer my question:camby:
The Recording Academy has proven time and time again that they don’t understand rap so who gives a fukk about their dumb ass criteria and what they feel like awarding. Grammy Awards ain’t shyt when it comes to hip-hop. The sooner you figure that out the better.

John said Nas jumped the gun with that one.

He told me the same thing when I asked him at Sole DXB:pachaha:

London's actually a tough market for American kitchen concept restaraunts like this. In the past 6 years theres been boom in them especially down central either franchse ones or indepenent ones (Mostly "premium" fast food joints like Five Guys, Wingstop, Shake Shake, Fatburger, Wahlburgers...prior to that it was basic KFC, Burger King, McDs) or ones made by people coming from the States to open them. (Joes Southern Kitchen, NY Fold, SoulShack, Passeyunk Avenue )
But a few dope ones have closed after a few years simply because its a tough market and the rent is expensive in central. NY Fold was a dope authentic New York Pizzeria with an actual Chef from Brooklyn and that only lasted 3 years, same with Joe's Southern Kitchen which was the closest thing you would get to American Soul food in the UK and that shut down too.:mjcry:

Hoping Sweet Chick lasts. The closest thing to it is cHip sHOP in Brixton which is a Hip Hop themed restaraunt behind the station. Food is kinda so so but its known for a lot of rappers to come through and do small tiny desk type shows behind the bar (Cormega, KRS One, Beatnuts etc) I wonder if Sweet Chick will do something like that but in central and have a DJ and the occassional small dive performance like how they did in Fairfax :jbhmm:

“We’ve been approached for licensing deals in other countries but they’re not that interesting because of language barriers. We’re still a considerably small brand to be opening overseas,” Seymour said. “We have one investor from London and a lot of people who know London said we’d ‘crush’.

How was that pizza spot?

It was cool, one of the few places in London where you could get like a proper NY pizza (Theres always imitators and you can get American pizza everywhere but something that aint just Domino's/Pizza Hut) but the chef would like import the water from NY to make the dough, little things like that.
I was shocked to hear it got shut down when I went by it in January. Their opening some fine dining chinese restaraunt with some celeb chef now:mjcry:
