Production will probably be split between Kanye, Timb and Swizz with a few other producers sprinkled throughout. Kanye is probably responsible for the finishing touches. I will be very surprised if the album is 100% Kanye.

Hope Nas picks the best tracks he's recorded since LIG. I remember JUSTICE LEAGUE saying their track with Nas was a classic.

EDIT: I see Mass Appeal's instagram post. This might actually be a whole Nas and Kanye album.

I can't think of a trap beat Kanye has produced. He has a co-production listed on Culture II but who knows what he provided; probably the sample. I think Kanye is a big enough hip hop head to know what Nas sounds good over and doesn't sound good over. He's not really good at rapping over trap drums. I'm confident whatever he gives him with be that soulful, jazzy shyt with hard drums that Nas sounds good on.

Kanye doesn't just think like a Hip Hop head though. We don't know what direction Nas is going in. Even with samples, it still isn't a safe bet that Nas's album will be trap free. Nas killed "Nas Album Done" and that had trap drums.

Oh you're right, it's possible there will be a Kanye trap beat...I'm just saying I doubt it given his production over the last 5 years, plus his previous comments on Nas.

Yes Nas Album Done is dope but that's basically the only trap feature that worked IMO. The other Khaled tracks, especially that one with Travis Scott, were bad. March Madness remix wasn't good IMO. He just doesn't sound on beat and out-raps the production. Similar to how Hov sounded on most of MCHG's trap beats. When I heard that album I felt like good lord someone like ASAP Rocky would glide all over these beats, not kinda shuffle around...

Crazy shyt.. what is Nas' label situation.. is he still on Def Jam or officially on Mass Appeal now?

The Untitled Kanye Produced Project will be
Nas’s final album with Def Jam. After this album all future projects, including Lost Tapes 2, will release on Mass Appeal via distribution from Sony...

I'm incredibly excited about Nas' new album. But I'd be lying if I'm not a little nervous about the album itself because of Ye. As much as I'm also a huge Ye fan, His tweets and behaviour has me lowering my expectations a little bit.
