I still wonder what Jungle meant when he said "I hope people don't be mad..." regarding Nas' album.

We may never know now, assuming most of those tracks were scrapped for a majority-Kanye album. I assume he meant that Nas was rapping over some trap beats/drums initially. Then he probably moved more towards beats that fit him when when Hip Hop started exex producing him. And then everything shifted to Kanye. Could be wrong but I assume those are the three phases the album has gone through.

The other part of that statement that Jungle made was that there was something on there for everyone. Even with Kanye on board, Nas rapping over trap beats isn't out of the question. A 2018 Nas album could go anywhere.

I can't think of a trap beat Kanye has produced. He has a co-production listed on Culture II but who knows what he provided; probably the sample. I think Kanye is a big enough hip hop head to know what Nas sounds good over and doesn't sound good over. He's not really good at rapping over trap drums. I'm confident whatever he gives him with be that soulful, jazzy shyt with hard drums that Nas sounds good on.
