Something that made no sense and was rushed was Felix downfall. He goes from having full control of the whole coke trade in Mexico, Supplying the CIA with weapons for contra war, Moves 70 tons of coke for the Colombians And was labeled basically untouchable if he pulled which he did. Gift wrapped the president of Mexico the election . And then a scene later he gets kicked out the circle and lands in prison?

I figured there was going to be a "Narcos meets "Snowfall"-type moment, but they fucced that one up.
They completely flopped with that one. It would have been better than Felix’s constant dramatic indecision
Moments every episode. I’m at episode 9 finally, and this season just started becoming interesting at episode 8. This whole season seems to be a wash moment. I know that I fell asleep multiple times when that DEA agent’s mega monotone voice and dry delivery came onscreen. Not as bad as last season bc at least the dea agent is not annoying running around unhinged like the one that got killed but it’s not the Original Narcos formula at all.

Episode 9 - okay so dude is having 70 tons of yayo shipped in, but all he has to protect the product on land is a couple of dudes in a pick up truck as lookouts :wtf:?? And Felix thinks it’s a good idea to play wife swap and society ball at the orchestra with all this going on??

This season has me frustrated. Dumbest moves ever. And lol at Mimi - why was she needed?? And what was the point of Palma’s wife sleeping with the driver ? This shyt is all over the place
:mindblown:
Rest of this episode and ep 10 then I’m done binge watching or checking for Narcos Mexico after tonight, huge letdown, I’m going back to watching horror movies and waiting for the next season of queen of the south to come back

I’ll be back in an hour and a half - I hope this is worth it. Bc I was about to cut it off - dude has half the worlds supply of coke coming in and he’s playing twinkle toes with the symphonic orchestra. And the inevitable Colombian necktie for all involved.

Apparently he was still active even after his arrest. They had to move him to a super max. That meeting at the end of season 1 happened before he was locked away. Narcos seems to be changing the story. I didn't like how they ended the felix chapter. Even the El Chapo series made Felix seem more powerful than Narcos ever did.

finished ep 6 and that had to be the most demonic opening the show's ever had :picard: like others said, the Mexicans don't really have the charisma that the Colombians had but their story does lend to some interesting stuff which is why it's puzzling when Narcos tries to add in the soft "make them human" storylines :francis:

Did we really need to know about Walt's family situation if that's where it was going to lead for the whole ep :francis: 5 seasons and they iffy with how well they can land that part of the story. What they did with Pablo in S2 was great but everywhere else has been :patrice:And they just throw it in there with little to no proper build up for viewers to care. Am I really supposed to care about Benjamin's kid 6 eps into this season :gucci:

Also, good thing yall warned me about Quavo in this cause his dialogue came off like a parody...whip it like a stir fry :gucci:

season's picked up since ep 4 but def the slowest out of all of them thus far and yet seemingly more rushed

They never listen - I’m saying - all those lives lost and collateral damage for what. This show did not end as expected, I’m impressed. Last 2 eps made the slow build worth it but damn - all those people clipped, for no reason bc it still ends with the Mexican plazas in control of the transport. Felix isn’t shyt for what he did to the Palmas and the Cali cartel. And I knew the deal with the Mexican Lil Kim (Isabella) would go left.
