The third personality has been there since the first episode
It’s just not the focus of the season.
Why would they have a scene where both Steven and Marc don’t remember something that happened if this wasn’t the case?
If there is a third personality, then it contradicts the purpose of Steven being created in the first place.
And introducing a third personality at this point doesn't make sense.
Unless Steven created the third personality without Marc knowing.
Marc created Steven to help him deal with childhood trauma.
What if Steven created someone to help deal with some issue he had as Steven.

Or maybe Steven simply blacked out and their was a void. The episode showed Steven could be just as ruthless. Steven was probably keeping shyt from Mark as well.

I'm starting to think maybe they just dropped the ball on the third personality? And this is starting to get dangerously close to "theories" territory like breh above said.
If there was a third personality, this was the episode to show it.
Yeah, that's the 3rd alter or personality. You've seen bits and pieces of him kinda come out throughout the show.
I don't know how they're going to tie everything up, but I wouldn't be surprised if the season ends with the 3rd personality comes out, especially when he was talking to Harrow was about to poke him with the pyramid and shyt.
One scene that stuck out to me was when they were going through the room with all the people Marc killed, but they didn't show ole girl's dad, not til the desert scene.
I'm starting to think that they're either going to go with the comic origin or that the 3rd personality did it as a switch up, which would be interesting for season 2, trying to deal with him in place of Steven and how ole girl will react to that.

Oscar Isaac put on an acting clinic in this episode. This is definitely the best episode of the D+ shows from an acting and narrative perspective 
On the topic of Jake, they already showed a sarcophagus with someone trapped in there when Marc/Steven first woke up in the asylum. Unless that is a complete misdirection (which would be weird), I'm assuming that is going to be another personality. Whether we see it in the finale or not is another story but we know from the comics that it exists.

Yeah there's definitely a 3rd personality, it's just weird and stupid that they wouldn't debut him in this episode because it's gonna fukk up the pacing.
Could explain why the scales didn't balance until Steven was thrown off the ship.

I'm a fan of dude now. No matter how this series ends up (and it started rocky), breh is a great actor.
