More talking. What made season one so great was the characters always putting themselves in tense situations (Rafe's 1st encounter with Chopper, Miz in the barber shop getting intel on the Jamaicans, the check cashing robbery, etc). Some of these stories needed to wrap up quicker. Shane sitting there talking about how the only grimy cats Joe hung with was Ray but didn't figure out that they killed him over thinking he talked. He didn't think to ask Joe if anyone came over the night his cash went missing. Didn't notice Bars had his J's on. They're stretching things out at a snail's pace.

It was good to finally see Solid Rafe back on a stealth mission but has he seen Chopper's boy before? He told the chick he saw the girl with Chopper but she was with the other dude.

Gunna needs to retire as a shooter. He's had the drop on Shane a few times and he's the only one who got shot

Kane and Bars. Yeah, that's gonna go well

Ray and that dusty nikka need to go now

shane is stupid. He was doing the same thing first season not realizing about ty when everything was right there in his face. Rafe seen choppers boy when he went to that building to sell them fake dope in the first season and he was there when rafe got shot

I knew Joe was gonna die. After he didn't run when the Young Buck lookin niigga caught a body outside the club, it was like Joe was making back to back mistakes. I knew it was gonna get him caught up eventually.

I think shane gets blamed for Joe's murder too. He was at Joe's crib for a while, somebody probably saw him. Plus he really didn't get to take his stuff so he might have left something there.

Shane got too many problems.
-Ty is lying on him
-Cops are looking for him
-Leon and his cousin want to kill him
-Ronaldo wants to kill him.
-He has all his money stolen
-He has no work
-Now Joe is dead

I wonder what happens when Rafe and Miz show up to do the robbery and realize that those were the Jamaicans that killed his two homies.

Miz is totally dismissive of this chick and her feelings. Shyt is kinda fukked up that he's not more understanding. Dude ran up in her crib and put the heater to her head

Jessica is not good at acting. At all

Some of this dialogue is so awkward and unnatural. That restaurant conversation

Kane asking Shane if he had anything to do with Joe's death

They reuse the same phrases over and over "Money is the reward, never the motivation"

Joe getting killed was stupid . He gets taken in but released and Ray and his boy still on the streets so he didn't talk. Ray is that dumb knowing Joe holding down Shane at his crib while he on the run. Police question Joe and Ray and Joe don't say nothing but call and warn Shane to watch out and he wants him dead after seeing him stand tall .
Black still can't act, he regressed.
Jessica needs to be recast, she is cringe worthy bad .
Miz boy needs to whip it more and drop more ice water so get more profit with the hard. It's all in the wrist my G.
Gunna needs a new nickname . Spray? That's about right.

I agree, I don't see where Joe's murder fit. I feel they should just let him be the square dude on the block, instead doing a storyline where he is running with scammers. Very left field and very forced. Joe was entertaining when he was just Shane's friend.

A lot of the side plots revolved around Shane, so I don't see how keeping Joe around would have been a big deal. Ty, Zoe God, Bars, Renaldo, Gunner, etc...are all tied to Shane's character so Shane's character keeps the action moving, while Miz and Rafe are like Avon and Stringer the main attraction.

I like the latest episode cause it looks like Rafe is going back to basics. Not one scene was really wasted in this episode. I know Rafe wants to give everyone shine, but it makes the story suffer, only use characters when you need them.

Its nice seeing Kane coming up, putting in work, getting put on, taking loses but getting W's where he can. Bars getting in the mix going to be crazy, cause Shane got so much beef.
