first of all gotta salute big bro...peace god :salute:

but yeah 100 percent facts..thats why the thing with draymond and barkley going on and draymond disrespecting barkley's career like that didnt sit well with me at all
Peace god :salute:

And that’s exactly what I was alluding to. And it’s not disrespect to Draymond, he plays his role great. But to compare him to Charles is criminal and downright stupid. You’re comparing a HOF MVP to a role player with rings.

I mean Bill Wennington's giving interviews and commentary in this doc, I'm just saying why are some role/bench players being acknowledged and others being essentially erased from this story?

Hodges was one of the best shooters % wise in the league when he was playing in Chicago, what was Wennington known for? Just a thought...
:hubie:
Craig Hodges averaged 2.5 points in the 91-92 playoffs
He's known for the 19 in a row at the 3 point contest, no big playoff moments
Bill Wennigton actually played in Finals games and was on the 97-98 team that the doc is about
Might as well add Stacey King, Cliff Levingson and Scott Williams also if Hodges was included

Brolic... Alcoholics
There is vilifying and there is looking the other way. What MJ did was make a joke of Black folks with racist... I mean republicans buy sneakers too. Well guess what, they go to concerts, go to Basketball games, and do all shyt like everyone else but they think you are inferior. You just bank off of being the special unicorn. Your wife, children, family members, and friends don't get the benefit, just you. Michael Jeffery Jordan. Dog, if you don't see the crime in your actions, you are blind as a bat to the problems to being with

And my point is there shouldn't be any vilifying. Somebody else said it but how is that any different than those comments LeBron made about China last summer? If y'all want to continue to look to athletes to speak on your social issues then cool. I'm just saying that if they do, that's great. If they don't :yeshrug:

It's not just about the 97-98 team, which is why they have BJ and Horace in here as well.

Wennington averaged 2.8 in the 97-98 playoffs so really you're proving my point, but I'll let you have it.

This is why I cannot stand today’s fans. Oblivious to the past, and then when educated on it, they try their best to downplay it. And that goes across the board of all sports, especially basketball and football.

It goes both ways and both sides are sickening. For every fan who is oblivious to the past and try to downplay it, there's an old nikka who is oblivious to evolution and downplays what they're currently seeing in favor of nostalgia.

I truly believe that Barkley is one of the few greats that truly admire MJ. You can tell it straight up eats up Barkley that he never got that ring and that first game of the finals was critical but at the end of the day, he's at peace that it was MJ and not some "Hot team of the moment with momentum" like Dallas was to Lebron. If you're going to lose the most coveted prize, it might as well be to the greatest :blessed:
