Paying Pip and Phil (again for Phil) would be eating into Reinsdorf's pockets. He could have stopped it all, but prior to the last 2 seasons Mike was only getting 3 mill a year from a long deal he signed in '88. Having to pay Phil at least 6 again and Pip probably 10x what he was making wasn't gonna ride for Reinsdorf and the other minority owners of the Bulls. Krausse getting all the blame when Reinsdorf was just being cheap.

Reinsdolf is a cheap clown. He's the reason why the Bulls franchise is trash today. He just hit on Michael Jordan and Jerry Krause in the 80's. Krause in the 90's was completely suspect tho. The one thing I like about Krause was like me, he was a Baseball guy. We Baseball guys know team structure better than Basketball guys. He always knew what he had in Jordan and luckily was always having a top 10 pick every year so talent was available at his disposal.

At the end of the day, I don't think Krause was that good. Guys like Masai would run circles around him.

Krausse does get A LOT of the blame, but in the end Reinsdorf signs the checks and has the final say. Same way he overrode Krause on signing Phil to one more year.

They could be a Terrible Mother/Father..Husband/Wife... but that doesn't change how they perform at work..

I don't find this to be true. I do believe most of these posters care for their athletes being pro-Black and speaking up for our causes. The Kaep shyt proved it as well. I just believe when it's someone they care for as much as Mike, they makeup excuses and want to look the other way. We seen Kobe stans do this during BLM. We seen Kanye stans do this for a long time till Trump where they just couldn't defend him anymore. I am a believer that we all have these expectations and I've seen us share it on this site for years but when the person is Michael Jordan. I see guys who normally aren't scared to put the feet to the fire of c00ns get really scared to do it with Jordan. As I've said in the past, MJ is the image most of us BM wanted to achieve at some point in our lives.
