Barkley is clearly the better player but there's a lot of underselling of Draymond's impact around here.

Draymond's emergence on the Warriors made the Warriors. Without David Lee getting hurt multiple times and losing his starting role at the start of 2014, I'm not sure this team ever makes the leap.

The combination of defensive versatility, playmaking and shooting (for a short period of time....his shot has obviously fallen now) is rare and if you took him off the Warriors the last 5 seasons it would have completely shifted the balance of power in the NBA.

Another thing about this. For the last 20 years or so the media has actually been consolidating. There are way fewer newspapers today.

So I'd probably guess there was more in-person media that players had to deal with. More people snooping around the locker room.
