Steph used to kill too and it was understood Steph was the engine of the team and the attention he (and Klay) drew opened up the floor for KD. Remember when the Cavs gave up a KD fastbreak dunk instead of a Steph 3?

Steph wasn’t out here shooting under 40%.
:comeon:Steph shot 40% in 2016 finals. Isaiah was the heart and soul of the pistons. He was the engine. The leader. This was the 80s where PGs served a purpose as the floor general. Isiah was that dude.

Dude is kinda overrated to keep it a buck. To say he beat those players when his team beat their teams it just shows everything wrong with how the game is talked about. The Pistons beat the Celtics, Lakers, and Bulls. Magic was injured in that Finals series.

When the Pistons beat the Bulls it’s just that Michael didn’t have help. Isiah didn’t beat fukking Michael. He didn’t outplay Michael. Michael got his while Isiah shot under 40% and Dumars was leading the team in scoring and guarding Michael.

Yeah and they lost when he shot 40%. And u was talking about when KD was there.

Listen we talking about Isiah beating Magic, Bird, Michael like they was playing one on one.

Nah, Isiah had a squad. Isiah was out here shooting below 40% and getting outscored by Dumars who was also taking on the toughest defensive assignment and we talking about he beat Mike and all those guys like he was on their level shyt needs to stop

An article from '89, interviewing kids on the playgrounds Isiah used to play at growing up:

"There`s been a lot of debating on it, because a lot of people here like Michael Jordan better:manny:,'' said 13-year-old Otis Bernard recently at the Gladys Park court.

And which side of the debate is Bernard on?

''Michael Jordan`s side, of course:lolbron:,'' he answered.

''I don`t care anything about Isiah:pacspit:,'' said Andrew Cannon, 15. ''I like him, but I don`t want to see him win. This is Michael Jordan`s town:mjlit:. Detroit is Isiah`s town now.''

''Jordan is ice:whew:,'' said Lawrence Rosario, 21. ''I could never root for Detroit, West Side legends or not. Everyone`s got their own time. Their time is over.:trash:''

:whoo:

Rosario stopped the pick-up game for a moment and held his black basketball up in the air.

''See,'' he said, pointing to the Jordan-autographed ball. ''We play with the Michael Jordan basketball. And look around. Everyone`s wearing Nikes.''

Sorry Isiah. Sorry Mark. It used to be your town. But for now, Michael Jordan owns the West Side of Chicago. And maybe a few other neighborhoods, too."

:pachaha:

AGUIRRE, THOMAS LOSE PLAYGROUND TO JORDAN

Took his city. Took his 3 peat. Then took his dream team. Prolly fukked his bytch too. No condom.

Nobody said he literally beat them one on one. And I. That case where are you when people say Lebron be doing shyt by himself ? Yea exactly cut it out. Isiah was the heart and soul of a team that took down 3 legends. Nobody, absolutely nobody said Isiah averaged 30 on 49% aganist them. He led the fukking way. There’s a reason he’s underrated in the first place.

Steph shot 40% in the 2016, won 2 rings with KD being the best player right after, and all you heard was how Steph being the heart and soul/most important player. Yet you over hear complaining about the an underrated player people barely talk about getting credit.
