They don't know....It's obvious.

Especially these dudes that got into the league in the last 5-10 years.

It's just wild to me that all this info is available on the net with free libraries like wiki, basketball reference ... free video archives in youtube amd everything else ... access to all kinds of newspaper and magazine archives and these young dudes waste it all on social media :mindblown:

Some of you cats is biased towards Jordan and it's hilarious. A few of you a$$holes have said, "Dumars was the toughest defender he faced'

That 6'3 guard named dumars was 1st team all defense NBA 4x. Jordan said He was also the toughest player on defense.

He was also MVP of the 89 NBA finals. Now what you predictable dikkheads will going to do is go to Wikipedia and say he only got that award because of injuries. Or was it because he was tough as shyt and also put up 27 a game?

See, it's shyt like this. Jordan is penalized because he was so GREAT.

How do you view Magic Johnson?

Now ask yourself THIS question. How many 6'9 point guards were there in the league at that time? Hell even now.

I don't understand the bias. The competition that MJ played against during that time is the SAME competition that Bird, Magic, Wilkins, Zeke Thomas and many other GREAT basketball players faced during that time and they all put up crazy stats.

Magic is the second all time in assists I believe. Is that because he played against other point guards/defenders that weren't as TALL as him? Or because he was the #GOAT at passing the damn ball

Other players weren't simply as talented as Jordan. You can create a case by case basis for each player.

They played the SAME competition night in and night out.

The reason Boston didn't shake the Bad Boy Pistons hands was because they were trying to avoid a COURT STORM from the Piston fans. That was very common back then. The Pistons walking off against the Bulls was different.

Isiah is being disingenious.

Always an excuse for the Cacs:mjpls:

Everywhere...You never there.
This doc is pretty much for everyone under the age of 37 who were too young to witness or remember the bulls dynasty and Jordan career
It’s for everybody .

Oh ... and Rodman was a brilliant basketball player .

He’s the only one to beat Bird, Magic, and Mj as a six foot one PG so he kinda earned it:yeshrug:

Isiah tries to come off as a cool guy but he's really very cocky the more you listen to him

this doc is living testament that what makes some men great also makes them flawed human beings. it’s there with Rodman, and Pippen, and Jordan. in different ways, but it’s there.

is it a surprise it’s there with Zeke too?

I get the effort :yeshrug:

However, thats on them for even bringing up the Bad Boys Pistons. I legit thought the first episode was just going to be a quick recap of everything from 84-97 instead of the momentum killing imo/jumping back and forth. We didnt NEED that for a Last Dance doc. If they are going to cover it then cover it fully. Not a big deal, but a missed opportunity. Let them tell it Bad Boys only won cause they were physical/dirty. Imo I see why people had trouble figuring out what to do with this footage. Cause they probably didnt want to do what they are currently doing now which is make it a greatest hits album. I mean the era is dope...so it works.

Again I admit that I was expecting nothing but 98 stuff so its probably just my expectations bothering me more than anything. That and the 80s/early 90s seem to be more interesting than the 98 stuff (already in January/Feb...and maybe got 2 topics covered)

Still dope :manny:

Real rap, I wasn't expecting it to be ONLY about the last season but I did expect more of this "never seen before" footage that Adam Silver & his crew collected the last 2 years following Mike around when he was still a part of the NBA's video team.

I saw somebody say it best. It's kind of just the same story with a fresh coat of paint. If you've seen ANY documentaries from that era (re: Bad Boys, Dennis, Bulls, MJ, etc.), you've seen most of this stuff. Or if you lived through it of course too. But, personally, I wanna see more of the behind scenes footage cuz I know it's more than what they been showing. They showing small glimpses with more backstory and interviews than anything.
