I was just thinking. What would have been a worse outcome for this team historically? They don't break up after 6 and they keep the band together and the dynasty dies naturally. Let's say for example the next year they lose in the 1st Rd to the Knicks, and then after that was the Lakers 3peat and they never touch the finals again.

Or was it was worse that they broke up the team after 6 and they never got the chance to go for 7, which they had a great shot at it

Everyone of these media heads wants to have a Jordan story when most of them don't know wtf they're talking about. The only journalists I respect are Sam Smith, Jack McCallum, Michael Wilbon and some others. Those that were there throughout Jordan's career.
