Krause catching a lot of heat but I could kinda see where he’s coming from and his eye for talent/team construction has to be commended.

The only thing I will say is he should have been content and played the background instead of being thirsty for credit and the team shouldn’t have been broken up until they lost. He was hell bent on breaking them up not just because they were aging but because of sour personal relationships with them and because he wanted to build another winner to validate himself.
Krause was on some bullshyt. I remember when he drafted Kukoc and thought he would make Scottie expendable. Kukoc was like the Luka of his day (obviously not as good, but hype wise), and Krause thought he found him one. Plus Krause didn’t draft MJ, so he was thirsty to try to show what he could do building his OWN team.

Krause probably was right. Pippen fell off after the 98 season and if Krause traded for T-Mac he would eventually be as good as Pippen with Mike teaching him. Not sure if they get ring 6 but i would like to know the other offers they got.

If he wanted credit, he was in the wrong business. How many GMs get credit like that? Auerbach, West, Spurs FO...that's about it. And even with them none of them get the same credit as the players. But honestly this is more so on the other Jerry. As the owner, staying out of the way is cool for the most part. However, when you have the GOAT and that kind of squad and this dude is looking to break it up just so he can get more credit it's on you to step in and stop that bullshyt. Instead he just went along with the stupidity.

I don’t know what dude problem was.

He won 5 titles to that point and was a 2x Executive of the Year.
