It was never supposed to be a MJ doc. It’s actually about the 6th championship season. The thing about it is they used MJ so much in the promo materials that they had everybody thinking it’s a MJ documentary.

Jordan himself came out and said he would hate it if the NBA ever allowed zones because it’d contain stars. I don’t care how many one off clips you find of nikkas being thrown to the ground, that doesn’t mean the era had good defense. And you can do that for literally any era. Fights and dirty plays didn’t go extinct after 1999.
