That doesn't matter if his boss says one more year. Reinsdorf offering Phil one more year supersedes Krause's feelings. But Phil didn't fight for it, he just laid down like a sucka.

MJ wanted it. That means you really only have to sign Pippen. And I'm confident MJ and Phil could have gotten that done. MJ, Pip and three bums are making the finals in '99.

Nah it was that bad. Pippen was gonna be offered a minimum or something like that, for 1 year. Phil was also insulted at the beginning of the season. Reinsdorf could've patched it up at the beginning of the playoffs, just by telling everyone, no matter what happens in the playoffs let's give it one more go next year. Why wait until the season is over? And Rodman was actually becoming a nuisance to the FO, so he was out of there. So 2 of them are gone without question (Pip & Rodman), and you shyt on the coach. Krauss was talking that rebuild ish for 3+ years at that point. It also didn't help that everyone believed that they were not gonna come to an agreement before the next season, resulting in a lockout. There were too many factors playing against them.

One thing I miss about 90s NBA(Boxing even to some degree) is the nicknames... Hakeem the Dream, Round Mound of Rebound, Air, the Admiral.. now everyone just has has an Initialism besides Greek Freak and maybe King James:unimpressed:

Clyde the Glide, Big Smooth, Thunder Dan, Mad Max, X-Man, Mailman...

Lakers would have gotten dog walked against the bulls.

Yeah, I can see why everyone would come to that conclusion, but I needed to see it to believe it.

Everybody has that one irrational belief in sports that they hold onto despite everything, this one is mine.

I just think LA matched up better with youth and athleticism.

You just never know. Pippen with a bad back? MJ with food poisoning?

If the Lakers didn't go on to have success (unlike Knicks, Pacers, Jazz) maybe I would have let it go all these years.

All due respect to the Bulls and his Airness, but I wanted every piece of them back in 1998.

If he had a hangover a simple IV would have had him straight. Clearly wasnt that

Exactly someone who knows what the fukk he is taking about. :obama:

He said he slept all day afterwards. Those team docs would give iv fluids and other nutrients and he would be fine to play. Clearly he was sick as a dog during that game, so it could not be a hangover.
