You need to play every game, watch every movie, and read hours of wikis to truly understand all the intricacies of the story. MGS is famous for having one of the most absurdly complex stories of all time, but for me, it’s worth. It’s my favorite game series and story.

im still playing MGS5, but so far its theme seems to be "Loss"

Been a Metal gear player since 98/99... thought it was ok at first, but when MGS2 came out I was addicted

I will be the first to admit that I would have chosen Syphon Filter over MGS back in 99... actually, I kinda did up until 2001. Tazing fools till they light up like a christmas tree was more interesting to me when I was young as opposed to hiding behind walls and sneaking... Winback was also another game I obsessed over too...
