Also I've always felt like the poor performance of Ant-Man had more to do with Disney letting go of Jonathan Majors than anything else.

Journee Smollet as Rogue is also perfect casting.
I don't want Ayo to play Storm, but she's NOT "too young" to play her. Storm is usually in her 20s or early-to-mid 30s in the comics. Ayo is 29, so she's right in line with that.
Anyway, Journee Smollet is NOT "perfect casting" as Rogue. The character is defined by being a redheaded Southern White woman. Journee is not that (the actress they cast should be or at least close).

Rogue can be a creole Louisiana woman. It's ambiguous and can work because who else can carry the depth of work into playing that character. Anna Paquin was horrible.
Ayo doesn't fit the archetype build or look for storm. It would be almost as goofy as Alexandra Shipp.
