I’d give it like 25%, I just feel like there needs to be a different movie that introduces him first. However, that would be another easy way for them to make a BP film a part of the cultural zeitgeist for the whole year again

Disagree. Darcy would have been met with wtf's. BP was a cultural phenomenon. It was a reason they had him come out first.

Naw fam there’s definitely a chance this could happen especially if some movies in Phase 4 don’t perform well. With that May release it has I could see them bringing out the big guns. I do believe a post credit scene with Doom is way more likely but I wouldn’t be surprised if Doomwar gets set up in this movie.

Doom is the darkhorse i feel. Namor is the most likely as is Achebe.

Coogler prolly feels pressure to make this bigger than the first. The easiest way to do that is with either Doom or Namor.

Honestly it all depends on the DCEU's box office numbers and RT scores. Whether they like to admit it or not, marvel is in competition with them.

Man I truly don't know what Coogler should do.

On one hand sticking with the foundation (as Boseman put it) keeps things grounded and allows for you to recreate that magic. On the other hand people are going to nitpick the hell out of this movie (look at the turn once it started receiving oscar buzz and breaking records) so you might have to up the ante.

I hoping this is Cooglers Dark Knight....but keeping Achebe as the villain and making it more lowkey would be the safer bet.

We also got to look at the other movies rumored to be coming out in 2022 around BP2. Ant-Man 3 will probably come out in Feb, then BP2 in May, they could easily use how massive BP2 will be + the Quantum realm in Ant-Man to set up Fantastic Four. They give Doom the exposure in a 1.5+ Billion dollar BP2 which could then propel the Fantastic Four to become a successful ensemble film later in the year.

I'm still of the opinion we didn't see shyt of Wakanda but a few rooms and a busy street that looked like a set. Everybody want to see more of it and more of the regular shmegular Wakandan people.

Can't do this if you have to add a whole other world, Atlantis, to flesh out and introduce. That's why I think go out and get to Namor that fast would be a terrible choice. We need to give Wakanda some substance first. Plus it being flooded already would feel like it's weak at the end of the day. Killmonger can wreck it into a civil war, than Thanos invades it and now it's flooded, all in one streak.

I say Achebe for the 2nd movie to flesh out the base we already had and give Wakanda a real country feel and not just two sets with a lot of CGI, then Namor for the 3rd installment.
