I think they do go Namor, because they're pretty dry right now, and apparently have no clue what to do. They need another heavy hitter if they play on lasting even another 5 years.

AND if it is Namor, they have to do the classic misunderstanding angle. IF they want, they can do a middleman like Achebe, instigating and manipulating both sides into war. Buy I wonder if they will flip the Doom War plot for BP2. It only works with a powerful villain.

Kinda feel like the 3rd film should be Namor...

Achebe "wins" in the end by starting off what would be a war between Namor and Black Panther in part 3.

Avengers: Endgame Cut a Black Panther Fight Scene From the Finale

"We didn’t really shuffle it around a lot. I remember we did have a much more elaborate sequence with [Thanos’s henchman, Ebony] Maw," Ford told /Film. "His battle with Panther was longer. I remember we took it down because when they come through the portals, they kind of introduce all these characters into the story that haven’t been in the movie yet…Panther and Maw felt like, that’s not the story that we’re tracking, so maybe we reduce that stuff."

While Black Panther and the Wakandan army are the first to appear on the battlefield to aid Captain America during the finale, the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe is featured throughout the battle. Ford went on to explain how this came about and why. "We ended up making sure we had a cool shot of Panther, but it was like, 'Let’s make sure that every moment we engage in that section needs to lead us to that final confrontation with Tony and Thanos.' So there were a few things we reduced there for that reason."

T'Challa's return was so epic that I was sure he was going to get a "Thor moment" in the fight. Shame.

Gotta come out the game swinging with BP2.

Glad Namor's going to most likely be in this. Anyways, I find it funny how these anti-Black men Storm fans are now wanting to LEECH off Black Panther since the success of his film and now popularity that has overshadowed hers. When years ago they were constantly bytching about Storm being forced with him and how she was more relevant than him. lol.

IMO, the internet overrates her and she's living off the fame of a 92 cartoon in which she was a glorified background character.

Notice no internet pundit actually has a plan for MCU Storm, other than "throw her in BP 2."

They spent the entire movie highlighting Nakia as BP's childhood friend, rekindled lover, preferred wife, and mvp who saved his fam... yet the logic is to scrap all that to shoehorn Storm? :mjtf:

That's because they're stumped if you ask them to do something else with her within her own franchise.

Fyi I would wait for an official or more credible source as wegotitcovered rumors tends to be BS 95% of the time.
Facts, there not legit at all. That being said Namor would make the most sense in terms of timing. I believe Marvel will hype BP2 as an Avengers level movie so there going to need a huge comic book character as the antagonist. Also with the rumors of Fantastic Four being introduced 2022 I wouldn't be surprised if Doom cameos or is somehow referenced in this.

It's the same thing with Namor, IMO. You have folks that really aren't into BP or read his comics aside from the big event stuff so they just want a civil war 2 style film for BP2 since that's all they can think of.

Yeah, but with Namor, they can toe that line. He's a monarch, a hero, a villain, AND an a$$hole. He's perfect to build around, and can circulate (F4/Avenger/Dark Avengers/Illuminati/Cabal/Mutant)...they have no real plans for anything for their next go-round, so why not?

Storm can't fill all of those roles, and she has to be likeable.

If they do go with Namor, Wakanda shouldn't be destroyed. I feel like we haven't gotten to see enough of it yet.

they could easily build him into this new phases Loki, be a recurring villain that ultimately factors into the next avengers movie.
