Plenty of shyt ain't comic accurate and ppl defend and everything in the comic wasn't well received. Wakanda being under seige for the beginning of Coates run was a shytty idea.

I'm now with the ppl that thought T'Challa needed to be recasted.

I hated what they did to T'Challa in the first one (had him looking weak and with a lack of direction or scared all movie), but, i thought they'd fix it in Part 2, but, apparently Namor isn't the "villain," but, another main character.

Still, this might be the first MCU film I see since Endgame.

Inside the movie, Shuri was a rail thin, non-fighting, tech geek with goofy jokes. Every other main female in the movie had more stature and presence than her. They have both Danai Gurira and Lupita Nyong'o on deck. Even Angela Basset.

Outside of the movie, Letitia Wright is a psuedo-intellectual, being-contrarian-makes-me-smart, I-do-my-research-thru-youtube-videos, smark dumb nikka, coli militant.

The looking weak part can probably be attributed to him being sick and not telling anyone. Physically he looked fragile.


It’s also interesting to see that throughout this entire ordeal, nobody has blamed Boseman. He never let Marvel know and his passing came at the worst possible time. He put them in a bad spot. Had they known he was sick, maybe they would’ve been prepared to recast if need be or set it up in a way that there could be a more seamless transition. Or maybe they would’ve cast someone else for role, since he was also working on other projects.

Yeah if we're honest Chadwick should have told them what was going on because he knew. But he probably didn't want to be replaced and wanted to leave on a high note.

As for re-casting they would have been torn to pieces if they had brought in some random Black actor and everyone just had to pretend that it was the old T'Challa and that nothing had changed.

So all the "recast T'Challa" types would have been the anti-re-cast T'Challa types if they had done it. People were upset and distraught and wouldn't want to hear about recasting so they made the least bad decision in the situation.

So for the film supposedly Shuri takes over

then allegedly M'Baku then allegedly T'Challa's kid

is the new BP later on which works.

And when it came to cacs, some of them tried to say the Joker as a character should be retired after Heath kicked so that's what they thought should be done in a similar situation. And interestingly Nolan didn't recast he just went with Bane as the villain for the 3rd movie instead.
