The problem is not so much wanting a recast like I definitely want. But the reasoning seems to result in bashing black women or throwing out some misogynist tropes then I'm out. Also not watching the movie due to that definitely has some weird vibes if people are willing to miss out on Cooler's story/movie because it's now led by black women. I want a Namor v TChalla battle but that's not going to happen. Let's see what they come up with.

If it doesn't apply to you or your concerns then why are you acting offended? I'm not saying all gripes against this film are steeped in misogyny. Hell my main reservations are also due to the rewrites and leaks, but there are definitely nikkas hating on this that are fueled by their disdain for Black women(i.e. the TLR thread).
Nate Moore literally said we won’t see T’Challa again in the main universe although that quote does imply that they could still possibly recast down the line by using a multiverse T’Challa.
