Glad you brought up Infinity War because one thing that was bugging me in the first trailer was the battle sequence when we see all the wakandans charging the thanos' army; because as cool as that looked i was like, there's gotta be more to it than charging these aliens with nothing but scythes and swords..! Yea it was reminiscent of See Wakanda and Die but there was a special reason for that in the comics.

...but now that i've watched the BP movie, it makes perfect sense. They gon be pulling up their energy shields and all types of piffery that hasn't been cgi'ed in yet

That charge with T'Challa leading the pack probably will have bullish Rhinos and ish in the final version
And how T'Challa rallies the troops, and the Wakandan's reactiosn to the space fukkery will also be very interesting. Coogler already confirmed that the soul stone is not in Wakandan, but clearly something is attracting Thanos' gang over there.

Coogler could be throwing cats off the scent of the soul stone in Wakanda :gurupersonal:

I actually hope it's a balance and they remain frenemies. They have philosophical differences and i think they should (and will) keep that element.

But with that said, before the movie I wanted Killmonger and BP to have that Vegita/Goku type dynamic, but since that ain't happening lol. I'd like M'Baku and T'Challa to have a more grown man version of that. i.e. They ain't friends, they each feel they're best suited for king, but they're both very honorable and can work together when absolutely necessary

Did they really confirm Kilmonger to be dead...it’s implied that he died but you know how shyt goes.

Ehhh, logically bro is quicker than to just get grabbed up, his suit is comparable to iron man's in damage absorption, and his gauntlet claws can slice through anything. And he has all the tech in the world.

It's all in the writing after all. I don't like it when ppl dismiss one character b/c they don't win in the way they'd have another character win in... but that's whatever, bc this is about MCU BP 2, not about whether people like that Black Panther and Shuri have taken it to Namor in the comics using their suit and tech.

That'd be pretty dope, but I doubt they'd just throw Namor in without his own movie

If they cast Namor as Asian (which i think they would) I could see them introducing him in BP, but the fight would be like the first 2 scans, quick back and forth/misunderstanding and then they team up against whoever. And they'll use that to setup a Namor movie based on interest.

That's if they value the character or see him as an opportunity to reach the asian markets. Pretty much they aint jobbing either out if that's the case

Is there an Asian in the Marvel movies?

They got a side character in Wong (Dr Strange) but that's about it as far as characters with powers. They had an asguardian who was asian but he died in the last Thor movie, and he was always minor character anyway.

So an asian superhero would probably be one of the next ones. Or rather, Namor's look (no cism) has made people think he'd be logical to cast as an asian dude

Right. I mean, cats like Iron Man can probably hang with Namor in a fight and BP is essentially akin to Cap & Batman wrapped into a lighter, Iron Man suit. fukk Namor.

my thing is namor 100ton+ hitter & considered in the alpha-classification for mutants

i understand the bias and the fact that the writing can even it out
