Captain Marvel Trailer & Black Panther 2 Rumored For September

captain-marvel-black-panther-september.jpg

Big MCU plans are in the works for the month of September, according to a new rumor, which includes possibly the release of the Captain Marvel trailer and an announcement about Black Panther 2.

The info comes from YouTuber Grace Randolph on social media.

"#MCU is going to have an amazing September - I got some great insider tea today, but I was sworn to secrecy by all. But it’s good stuff about an Air Force pilot and also a cat, both of which I’m sure we’ll be talking about VERY soon..." Randolph tweeted.

By "Air force pilot," she is obviously referring to Carol Danvers, and as the movie is due to come out in March and Marvel has yet to start promoting it, a Captain Marvel trailer would seem likely.

Regarding the "cat" reference, while true Carol Danvers does own a cat in the comics, Randolph clarifies in the comments that it has to do with Black Panther.

"I’m talking about a billion dollar cat we’ve already met," Randolph tweeted, which references the box office of Black Panther as it's over a billion dollars.

Grace :scusthov:

But the source aside, BP 2 announcement in the next 30 days? :lupe:

I actually prefer M'Baku as a hero. He's the perfect bro for T'Challa, esp since W'Kabi is troubled and there's no other viable Wakandan male from the first movie.

But imo he desperately needs that White Gorilla power upgrade so that he can get busy along with BP. Ideally he should be spider-man/Luke Cage level strength and durability which would suit his frame/physique.

I checked it out on dvr yesterday it isn't bad:ehh:I really don't like the drawing style much they look really goofy :mjlol:
Yeah.
It almost feels like the whole Avengers Assemble run has like a different art style every season. That just seems to get cornier as it goes on.

This is what the creator of the cartoon said on CBR today

"I want you guys to understand that these first two episodes were written the way they were because I didn't want to JOLT the existing audience too much. Episode One is my version of a "normal" avengers episode. A prolog, really. Episode 2 is really the first episode of Black Panther's Quest. If you appreciated how T'Challa's depicted here, get ready. My guiding lights on this series were Stan and Jack and Priest. I'm not being hyperbolic when i say this season is nothing like what people are expecting. So far ALL speculations about upcoming plot twists are WILDLY off the mark. We're bringing heat. I promise you. Real heat.

I honestly couldn't believe all the stuff Marvel let me roll with. Consider these first two episodes a sketch of what's coming."

I'm intrigued :ehh:

Ryan Coogler to Write and Direct ‘Black Panther 2’

Sources tell Variety that production is expected to start at the end of 2019 or early 2020, depending on when the script is ready. According to sources, Coogler is planning to shoot a smaller film before the sequel — one possibility is his version of “12 Angry Men.” It is unknown if “Black Panther 2” will now become his primary focus or if he will still try to squeeze that smaller film in.

:ohhh:
