I'm still confused on the Riri inclusion. It makes no sense, other than "she's black." She's inspired by Iron Man, funded by Iron Man, her name is Iron Heart. What's she doing in Wakanda? And I definitely don't want to see her and Shuri interact. They're pretty much clones at this point.

If marvel can have multiple smart middle aged white men interacting with each other and everything is fine, I don't know why Riri and Shuri interacting as two intelligent black women would be a problem

MCU drop off in quality is very obvious. Black Widow was trash..... The Disney shows have been trash aside from the What ifs.... Spiderman trailer, big trash.... Captivating an audience for 11 years is quite the accomplishment though, so props to disney and marvel.

What If is the worst show so far IMO with WandaVision being the best one by far.

i'm a broken record, but Shuri taking over the mantle will fukkin suck so bad. she has a good, important role already. she's gonna be a huge part of the BP lore no matter what, why do we need to double up on that twig being the hero? especially when Marvel has over-course corrected with the female hero representation. Feel like every new announcement is female led. we're good for a while.

... with that said, i still think Lupita would be fine. that's a nothing character who can use beefing up. contradicts what i just said, but Lupita > whatsherface.

Lupita is a better actor and has more credentials (an Oscar if you are into that sort of thing) than any male candidate in or outside the franchise to be Black Panther. She would be my preference as well. But REALLY my preference is a good movie however they get there regarding BP.
