If they were to cast a female as BP than I rather see Okoye take the mantle. Shuri is simply too goofy and not intimidating enough to be BP.

We don't know if the recasting decision is set in stone (ie. Feige said they're not recasting) so for all we know, it could go like this:
Wakanda Forever (Panther dies but Shuri takes up the mantle as is the story more or less)
Build to Multiversal War (Secret Wars)
And when...I dunno...the Secret Wars are over, maybe somehow Strange or Reed try to merge all the realities best that they can and thus we then have a world with The Mutants as well as a world where there are two Spidermans (Peter Parker and Miles Morales) a Black Panther (recasted T'Challa) and a host of other things.
We don't know...this is the same company that gave us Star Wars Episode 7-9 and tried to convince the world is was good but are now considering making it all a huge "What If?"

At some point in the future they have to recast. BP as a franchise can’t survive without T’Challa. He’s always been the main BP.
