action movie stars never had to be great actors. Arnold and Stallone were never beating out Anthony Hopkins for any awards either.

the MCU needs good actors because Feige prioritises characters and characterisation above action. as he says ad-infinitum.

not to play "name any black actor" but i'm watching 21 Bridges and this dude who plays the main criminal, Stephen James is pretty damn good. I'm hereby nominating him over the typical hypothetical fan castings like Denzel's son. He's going toe to toe with Chadwick, Dude's got a good career going too, never seen him til this. He was Jesse Owens in the biopic and played John Lewis in Selma
