This is the perfect casting to me - phenomenal actor, perfect age to get a long run across multiple movies, A1 at pulling off accents and his Nigerian background would help him pull off the role. What do yall think of Damson Idris as T'Challa when they decide to recast?

I know Feige said they’re not recasting but it looks like the MCU is progressing to The Ultimates (S.W.O.R.D, Rambeau in WandaVision and CM2, Chavez in DS2) and T’Challa needs to be a part of that.
It’s a massive shame that Chadwick passed - I was rooting for him in and out of the MCU and within the MCU, it was looking like they were setting him (alongside Brie Larson) to be the face of the franchise.
The hate Brie gets as a person is overboard. That said, as Captain Marvel, she is easily the MCU's one major miscast. She has no screen presence or charisma as Carol. They would be better off letting Teyonah Parris be the next Captain Marvel (lead not supporting) but unfortunately that's not likely.Too bad the people don't like Brie. I didn't particularly love or hate her. Chadwick I really thought was going to be a star, it's really sad man. I still need to watch 21 Bridges.
That said, I don't think Idris is "physical" enough for the role. Atleast as is. If he's brought in, I'd like him to play a different character, and maybe eventually ease him into a prominent role.
My ideal Black Panther atleast for the meantime is M'Baku, I forget his real name.
I've been saying this since Chadwick died. It's the feasible option. What do yall think of Damson Idris as T'Challa when they decide to recast?

She's not a bad actor per se, but she can't pull off hardened. Someone like Katee Sackhoff from Battlestar Galactica would've been more believable. I still enjoyed the Captain Marvel movie since the supporting cast was great. If they find a way to change the characterization to make her more likeable and convincing they can save the character. Otherwise she'll be deadweight compared to Dr. Strange and Spider-Man.Agreed. In 3-4 eps of WandaVision alone Teyonah has already become a star and is better received. Yet to see her in action scenes yet but given the nature of the character, no need.
It's hard to get behind Brie's resting bytch face and sarcastic delivery, even though I try not to hate on her, uncharismatic is putting it lightly.
