Likely BS from the other thread.

Last bit makes me think its not true. No way you bring in Namor AND Doom and then have no T'Challa. Would be crazy as hell.

I think most of it is plausible.

And I called the first part. Coogler wasn't going to let them recast. he was friends with Boseman, as was the other cast members. SO recasting wasn't going to set well with any of them.

Introducing a new king who is younger also bodes well for the franchise since they will be able to extend it longer. letitia wright is 27, so if they can cast someone her age or younger to play the role, BP will be in the MCU another 10 years.

It’s still disappointing that we won’t see another T’Challa for the next 20 years or so. The character still has a lot of unfinished stories that needs to be told such as him leading the war against Atlantis, his encounter with the Fantastic Four and his marriage to Storm.

I understand that Coogler and the rest of the cast aren’t comfortable with recasting but that’s what Boseman would of wanted instead of seeing the character that he helped bring to life go to waste.

I don't think its that deep. As long as they keep making BP movies, that's all I care about. And it's not like they have stuck to the comics. Magneto is Wanda's dad, but they didn't (or couldn't) use that in the MCU. She's also a mutant which she couldn't us in the MCU. I'm going to trust Coogler's vision on this.

As for Boseman, I think the only think he would have wanted is for everyone involved in this movie is to not take life for granted and put their best foot forward. The movie is inconsequential.

There’s a new rumor stating that T’Challa will be replaced by an entirely new character. The Fantastic Four probably won’t be introduced into the MCU until 2023 at the earliest.

I still don't know bruh, Ta'Challa is a major player in Marvel Universe his story should continue, his feats is ridiculous and we need to see a strong black character

What's your take on this

I agree with you. T’Challa story was far from finished and it upsets me that we won’t be able to continue seeing his character evolve. We definitely need a strong Black character that Black kids (especially Black boys) could look up too. Sure we have Blade and Falcon but none of them carry the same influence as T’Challa.

we actually did get a somewhat complete story arc. The only thing that was missing was his origin story. I think he was able to right the mistakes of the past and move wakanda forward in the world.

And luckily the movie had a strong supporting cast so Boseman didn’t have to carry the movie.

This is EXACTLY what I predicted from DAY ONE...and everyone in this thread...clowned the idea and said this will never happen :ehh:
I know its only a leak so its not confirmed but this made the most sense to me (aside from recasting)
