Hell even if it's too late for the movie; maybe they'll fukk around with some multiverse fukkery. idk but i just want our voices heard and heard loudly.

I just signed a few seconds ago. I really hope Kevin Feige takes a look at this and reconsider his original choice not to recast. T’Challa is the most important Black comic hero we have and getting rid of him is not only a disservice to Chadwick who fought cancer while playing the role but also to millions of Black boys worldwide who need a hero to look up too.

look breh, for this particular sequel, they can’t honor him properly by recasting. Let that void be felt.

then explore recasting options. But I’m willing to see what Coogler will do. If he and the rest of the cast are cool with recasting then I’m cool with it.

Marvel Planning To Make Shuri The MCU's New Black Panther

I remember reading about this rumor last year and right now it’s looking a lot more credible. That might also explain the rumors about Chadwick being upset with Marvel before his death. It seems like they always had plans to sidelined his character so Shuri can become Black Panther.

I know I really just meant that after that tragedy and they decided to make more Superman movies with different actors no one considered it disrespectful. At the end of the day Chadwick Boseman is Chadwick Boseman. He neither created the character or owns it. Also just wanted to add that I really think Michael b Jordan’s acting was not very good to me honestly in the first black panther and I really hope the rumors of him “coming back” to be black panther aren’t true just as much as the shuri ones.

Shuri became Black Panther in the comics, so it's not coming from out the blue. Now this Shuri playing Black Panther is another story. MBJ playing Black Panther does have some logic given the story in the movies. But I wasn't a fan of his acting really. Given that BP2 is being filmed and probably released so close after his passing, it's in good taste not to recast BP so soon. I'm sure a royal b*stard will pop up sometme during BP3 or BP4.

Recasting at this point doesn't make sense, and the actor and the vibe of the movie would always been overshadowed by Boseman's legacy. The only way to truely pay homage is to go on without T'Challa and build around his loss.

Recasting would literally act Boseman was NEVER in the MCU. They wouldn't be able to mourn is loss on screen. You gotta realize the characters would treat the character like he never so they wouldn't be able to acknowledge the loss.

Black Panther may technically be a legacy title but it really isn't when it's been T'challa for 98% of the time.

true. But if Letitia Wright steps up and the movie gets praised, that's all that really matters.

something like this has never happened before. If RDJ passed away after Age of Ultron, I don't think they would've recast. The events leading up to Infinity War would've probably changed. Who knows. The only way you get away with recasting T'Challa is by doing a reboot, and that's basically impossible.

We know that with Wanda Vision and Dr. Strange 2 their about to go wild with these Multi verses..

So some how have where Michael B Jordan - Kill Monger is actually the Black Panther in another universe.. but similar thoughts on Wolds events as T Challa..

Basically bringing him over in this universe (by some wild event)
.but with us also knowing that T Challa in the other multiverse has taken the throne behind Kill Monger leaving...
