:francis:That's some lazy shyt DC would do. You don't have to bring Killmonger back like that.

Not to mention, you would have to have a valid reason for bringing him back in the first place.

Loki started off as evil but he eventually turned neutral throughout the films and now he is getting his own TV show. They can easily get a redeemed Killmonger from another universe and have him take the mantle but like you said they will need to come up with a good reason as to how he will end up in a different timeline and they also need to explain T’Challa’s absence since they aren’t recasting at the moment.

In civil war and the first BP, they hinted at being able to come back from the afterlife. So maybe T'Challa didn't bury him. Maybe W'Kabi finds a way to bring him back. The whole multiverse shyt would be redundant.

Because if you're going to go that route, you might as well bring back Tony Stark, Black Widow, Thor's mom and the rest of his crew, and Agent Coulson :usure:.

They would need Killmongers help or something to that effect, in order to justify bringing him back.

Definitely.

There’s ZERO chance they would have time to rewrite the script and make it work to the point they would be ready to film in July. Meaning that they are most likely utilizing the script that Coogler already wrote, which of course would be T’Challa focused.

If thats the case then T’Challa being recast makes the most sense. And quiet as kept it ALWAYS did make the most sense.

This didn't age well :francis:

They could technically still recast by getting another T’Challa from a different universe although the chances of them doing that are very slim at this point.
I don't see it happening
I don't know where they're going but honestly without T'Challa I'm kind of done with this franchise/Marvel
Black Panther and Spider-man 3 to a smaller extent was all I was really looking forward to
I'm still waiting to see what the sequel is about though

I was in favor of recasting. Don’t know how you can have a black panther movie without the black panther himself
not recasting means there will be a new black panther in the cast and in universe. doesn't mean there won't be black panther, just means they want to explain in continuity why a new actor is black panther now.

I don't understand how people can be cool with a new actor but adamantly opposed of a new black panther when its basically the same end result.

this way just means the new guy doesn't have to pretend to act like chadwick and can bring their own charisma to the role.
