RIP Chadwick. I feel like it’s going to be recasted with Stephan James as BP. Just my thoughts.

Na, In the movies, he was portrayed younger then 43 so it works in Hollywood. What they can do also, is kill off T'Challa temporarily by the hands of Doom and have Shuri replace him, bring back Killmonger, introduce white Tiger and then reincarnate T'Challa at the end as the King of the dead. Have Stephen James play him and he brings back an army of the dead to help fight off Doom. In this sequence, they can pay homage to Chadwick Boseman in an iconic role similar to to Reeves/Cavill MOS where both faces merge but we see him looking younger and also, we reintroduce that T'Challa is back. Bas just made him younger.

I don’t suspect we’ll have any official update until 2021.

My money is on a recast. T’Challa as a CHARACTER is bigger and more important than one actor (RIP Chadwick) and everyone within the MCU understands that. From all sources it seems that Feige had big plans for T’Challa going forward and I highly doubt all of that gets thrown out the window. Besides that 90% of the cannon comic material that they draw the movies from is T’Challa related (as i’ve said before Shuri was only BP for a very short time and even then T’Challa was around as the “King Of The Dead”
For A lot of THAT run as well)


This is not saying that Shuri couldn’t or shouldn’t be BP down the line. But for the direct sequel it would be too soon and I can almost guarantee it would feel forced given that The MCU Shuri is more the Q to T’Challa’s Bond.


And any thoughts of having Kilmonger take over is complete nonsense. Let that go it’ll NEVER happen.

Killmonger will be Killmonger, never black panther. This is Marvel, not FOX, where you can make up any story that has absolutely nothing to do with the comics like make Mystique the leader of the X-Men.

Havoc from X-factor cannot replace Cyclops in X-Men if the actor passes away. Storm cannot replace Jean as Phoenix if the actor in the movie passes away. It just makes no sense and goes far left from storytelling. It's why shows like the walking dead fall off. The show must go on. Killmonger is Killmonger, Black Panther is Black Panther.
