Canelo is ruined, he got a massive one sided Pretty boy Floyd ass whipping
I tried to tell you people Canelo isnt even on the level of a Robert Guerrero who put up a better fight and won more rounds IMO. From round one he lost, he allowed Floyd to sit in the pocket and measure up the distance for the very start and with Canelo non existent foot work he couldnt do shyt but sit and eat punishment, Floyd had the speed, reach, foot work and distance where he really aint have to worry about catching nothing serious, he also had zero respect for his power. Nelo should have came out full force in the 1-3 rounds and made Floyd feel something before he measured distance which he allowed Floyd to do off the bat, contrary to fighters like Cotto, Guerrero, Mosley and even Ortiz to a lesser degree, he should have then switched to started counterpointing around 6. Surprisingly Floyd clearly was the harder puncher, nearly every right and especially the left hands moved bothered and buzzed Canelo, I truly don't know where Nelo goes from here, true JMW which he's avoided is gonna want to try his chin

Yeah I don't know how they made the leap to he'd beat Floyd from the trout fight .
I'm guessing the hype of giving an undefeated fighter his first knockdown & loss had people thinking he could do the same to Floyd without actually seeing the Trout fight because if you take away the knockdown arguably Trout won...

When have whites ever wanted to see blacks on top? In sport anytime a black athlete dominates, whites (and other races) root against them and they never give them a fair shake. When that fails to register, they employ divide and conquer tactics.

Canelo go seriously outclassed but he didn't take a beating and he is def not ruined.
He just couldn't figure Floyd out which is a problem everyone who fights Floyd has but it's not like he was mollywhomped like what happened to Bradley against Provodikov earlier this year. Hell there was never even one moment in the fight where Canelo was hurt.
As long as Canelo can accept e loss and move past it he will have a fne career going forward.

I feel for canelo, too. It's obviously GBP only wanted to cash in and keep riding that gravy train. Canelo definitely wasn't ready for that fight, tho he put up a good effort
