I’ve always thought being an 8 or 9 seed is such a raw deal. You’re functionally one of the top 40 teams in the nation and you end up having to go against a 1 seed before even reaching the Sweet 16.

I risk getting quoted and clowned on, but teams built like OK St. don't go far.


Teams with the projected #1 overall pick don't go far in tournaments unless their squad is ridiculously stacked. The last #1 pick to win more than 1 game in the tournament as the only first rounder on the team is Blake Griffin in 2008-09.

Haven't watched a game all season until today. I placed bets on Virginia, Kansas, North Carolina, and Florida State to win it all.

Even if you were going for value, 3 of those are terrible bets. And FSU doesn’t have the offense to hold up against at least 2 of the 1 seeds
